The workhorses
of the Main Force Patrol. A Main Force Patrol Unit consists of two MFP
Patrol Officers and one Pursuit vehicle. They typically operate on a Three
Day Patrol schedule, patrolling their assigned sector, on the lookout
for scofflaws and answering specific calls for assistance. Due to the
immense areas of each sector, it is not unusual for one of these units
to rack up 50,000 miles per year.
